>>37967523Well for one thing, she didn't get all Dragon Pokes (her Axew doesn't even evolve during the series), ultimately her goal of becoming a Dragon Master or at least going all the way to be like original series and becoming a Gym Leader to battle Ash for the last badge didn't happen and she ultimately came across as less snarky or sassy and more of just kind of annoying overall. Also, Iris was introduced as a wild child who swung and climbed through trees and shit but she basically never does anything like that after the first few episodes
She also basically never developed as a character really. At least compared to May, Dawn and Serena.
