so i'm trying to do some battle tower in emerald. currently i can get to about the 4th round of trainers right before anabel. then rng tends to fuck me and i lose to stupid shit (fuck off hypnosis please). just last night i lost to a ludicolo that had the punches and crit me.

i've tried using milotic, latios, metagross, salamence, and even a gardevoir for the luls, but i seem to not be having any luck.

can you guys suggest some strategies that might help me out? it'd be greatly appreciated.
