The hilarious thing is, despite this image already showing off the stark difference in quality between the 2 gens (gen 5 looks straight up abysmal next to gen 6 pokemon), gen 6 doesn't have enough counterparts to show off the lionshare of gen 5s horrendous designs, like the genies and elemental monkeys to name a few.

>The execution was a fucking letdownCould have been better for sure, but when you put it next to the likes of Dragonite, Hydreigon and Kommo-O it edges over them slightly. Gets shit on by the likes of Tyranitar, Metagross and Garchomp though.
I'd say it's either middle of the road or slightly on the shit side, some days I dislike it more than others. Definitely pisses me off thinking about what it could have became though when you look at its pre evos.

Tyrantrum is just a stylized rock based T-Rex. I really don't know what you were expecting from it because they nailed it perfectly. Even Tyrunt looks great.
