>>37979048I'm not a competitive player, I don't know what actually makes a good staller.
Revolves around drones: Essentially half-power stockpiles.
For every two drones, gain a def and sp.def bonus.
Bonuses lost when drones are expended.
Can have up to 6 drones at once.
New ability: Offspring
Replaces Pressure
Grants one drone at the start of each turn.
Filter replaces Unnerve
New and Reworked moves
Spawn Larva
Gain a drone immediately.
Attack Order
Expends all available drones to attack the enemy.
Functions like a cross between spit up and the old attack order, has 45 power for every drone expended and increased crit rate.
Is now classed as Special because Vespiquen herself does not make contact with the target.
Defend Order
Expends all available drones to form a screen to protect the user.
Drone screen functions like a substitute.
Screen's health is equal to 1/8th of the user's max health x the number of drones expended.
Heal Order
Expends all available drones to heal the user.
Healing done is equal to 1/8th of the user's max health x the number of drones expended,
plus an additional 1/8th for every three drones consumed.
In raw numbers, heal order gives you more hitpoints than defend order.
This is because like substitute, defend order's screen protects you from the secondary effects of moves.
I worry that Offspring is objectively superior to Filter.
With Offspring you're getting a free half-Stockpile every turn regardless of what you do.
Without it you have to rely on Spawn Larva to get drones, which costs a turn.
Vespiquen doesn't have a varied enough movepool to really get by without being able to issue orders.
This is just a start, a concept, not a complete solution. Like I said I don't play competitive, so I need feedback to understand just how bad this idea is and why, and how the concept could be made viable, if at all.
