I liked having a group of friends in XY and I wish they were MORE fleshed out and we had MORE battles with them.

I liked how in the first part of the game it felt that you were traveling in a group, much like the anime. I wish they had bigger roles, more battles, stronger pokemon, and were namable

Tierno could have had a legit strong dancing-themed team. Tierno could have had a Smogon-tier team with a Mega pokemon. Shauna could've been a Fairy-type advocate, showing off all the new ones available. Serena could have been a legit rival with a Mega pokemon and a solid mixed team.

Could've been cool.
