Armor Evolution is real. Armored Mewtwo can only be obtained by transferring a Mewtwo from Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Eevee. Think of it as a bonus for fans who bought those games.

Aside from the ones mentioned in the leak, other Armor Evolutions include Pikachu, Lucario, Marowak (both forms), and Rowlet.
