Gen 1 actually sucks. Like, not in the context of the 900+ designs, but as a selection of 151, there's not enough variety

Currently, exactly half of all poison types are from Gen 1.
Only after Gen 8's new poison types can we finally say that most poison aren't from Gen 1, although a large bulk of them will still be.

Yeah it's a shame we get so few new ones. Most of the old poison types don't hold up too well for their stats and move pools.
I love poison types, but they eleectric and rock along with ice need some love.
