If we go purely for British Pokemon it'd be a nice mix of local wildlife that doesn't have much Pokemon representation like badgers and squirrels but also important creatures in culture and mythology, like dragons, lions, and unicorns. However a lot of these have already been picked up by other gens, so we can easily get some very British Pokemon just from plucking them from older generations, so delving into some of the more obscure stuff for inspiration is always fun. Thanks for the neat thread.
I'd like to see some Pokemon designs based on quirky myths or old history. Like how Ekans only exists in Galar because someone kicked them all out of Ireland, a Morris dancer, the story of Beowulf, a fire-type based on Guy Fawkes, or something based on one of Shakespear's plays.
