If you’ve raised a mon from what’s essentially babyhood, if it was born into being kept in a Pokeball and given orders, or if you bonded after capturing - I don’t know. I think the first is far more insidious. With the second part of me wonders how it can’t be when seemingly almost any Pokémon should be able to easily escape or fight back, but maybe there’s some brain washing or mind control or something fucked like that going on
