Decent team but Umbreon is kinda shit in gen 2. My plans to use it in game never pan out the way I hope because its movepool is garbage

I didn't do badly with Umbreon because I tend to use it against Ghost and Psychic types. Plus, I think it would come in handy with Toxic against opponents such as Red, particularly his Blastoise.

Planning on this team for HG, theme is stone evolutions. Not sure if I want Arcanine or Mismagius for my 6th. Currently only have Pichu and Togepi, just beat Falkner.

Razor Fang isn't until after you get Waterfall, but even Eviolite Gligar is great until then. Gliscor is excellent though, gets Swords Dance and Acrobatics by level. Too bad Earthquake is postgame but it's still really solid.

Give Sunflora Sludge Bomb or Return as a coverage and it's okay. Boosted (by Growth) Petal Dance does surprisingly good damage.

Is there any site that would list how early in each game each pokemon is obtainable? I don't want to spoil the entire storyline of a game I haven't played just so I can check whether you gain access to a particular route or a cave at almost the start of the game or by the time it's already pretty much over. I want to play through the game with a team full of pokemons that I actually like, but I don't want to cheat them in.

Gonna use these mons in a Heart Gold run. I'm excited because I was able to cover everyone's weaknesses well and will have at least super effective stab attack for every type in the game. Plus I've never used Typhlosion, Xatu, Umbreon, or Lanturn.

Currently playing through Yellow again. Current party is the following:
Parasect
Pidgeotto
Vulpix
Charmeleon
Ivysaur
Vileplume

Keeping Vileplume and Ivysaur for sure. I think I'll add in later in the game: Seadra, Cloyster, Kabutops, and Poliwrath. I've just beating Surge but I was wondering what method anons do before fighting Misty. Do you do the SS Anne stuff before or after you challenge her? I like doing it beforehand just to get that little bit of extra XP.

Are you playing Yellow? I was gonna suggest Jynx but it's unavailable.

Instead go with Exeggutor or Mr. Mime. Really useful having a Psychic user and these two don't see much use. Exeggutor is really good, Mr Mime is ok but pretty frail.

Guys I have recently started playing moon and I picked the water one and made a huge mistake, what is the best stater for gen 7? Started another HG run. Always really hard to make a "[Region]'s Pokemon Only" team with smaller Pokemon selections when you want to keep it fresh.
I might evolve Aipom, Misdreavus and Murkrow since I like their evolutions but it's really dependent on my whims and whether or not I feel like it this time.
Not gonna lie senpai-tachi, Slugma is kind of a jobber. Had to grind a little to even deal with >>>>>>Falkner birds too fast and also fuck sand-attack and right about to challenge Bugsy. Haven't even fought Silver yet, and I chose Cyndaquil so he'd have Totodile but I think I may regret that soon.
