Fighting Chuck is pretty much a detour on the quest to help out Jasmine so you can fight her, you'd have to consciously choose to take an additional detour in the complete opposite direction and completely ignore Jasmine

You made me check, Kanto gyms were basically around the same levels as each other except Blue being in the 50's. Maybe it seemed dificult for me because I used a different team in Kanto and had to train them up again. Red was a steep lvl curb though compared to the rest and was hard to train for.

A more diverse Pokemon team is a good thing for a Gym Leader, and showing off the new Pokemon in the new region is a good idea from a design perspective. All you've done is claim that this standpoint is "autistic" without actually providing a positive justification for Morty having such a boring snoozefest of a team. Stop being a belligerent little fuckboy and actually give me an argument for why Gastly, two Haunters, and a Gengar was a good choice.

Because players can see the new content in your new game? The new Pokemon is one of the biggest things that draw interest in new games, it's only natural to want to show off what those Pokemon can do in the main game. Expecting a bunch of brand new Pokemon and being greeted by a team of 4 of the one and only Ghost-type line from Gen 1 reflects very poorly on the amount and diversity of new Pokemon.
And again, you STILL haven't given an argument as to why Morty's team is a good thing, only low-effort dismissals of arguments that there's a problem.

I'm ok with most of this except for, Falkner, Morty, Claire, Lance and Red.
Falkner with a Togetic before you get the egg with Togepi
Morty with a fucking Stanler in a ghost gym
Claire having Arbok and Apharos in a Dragon gyme, and Apharos didnt have a mega to get the dragon type in gen 2 or 4
Lance, having a Rhydon, sure Charazard and Gyarados aren't dragon type but they are based on types of dragons so they get a pass but a Rhydon, having no relation to dragon? No.
Red isn't to bad since he had those pokemon and depending on the gen either Espeon of Lapras. Only manga Red had a Poliwrath, the again I wouldn't find a good replacement that isn't giving him a 2nd starter, or some random Pokemon that doesn't fit his team

The teams and sets suck but the level curve is fine. The only way to fix that is to extend the routes to compensate for the higher boss levels. Once you get Surf you're allowed to tackle the next 3 gyms in any order you want and the last leader suffers for it usually. I always liked the idea of Price, Jasmine and Chuck having 3 teams where you face a different one depending on how many of the 3 you've beaten this far but I guess GF wasn't down for that. Easily seems like the best solution to me.

Doesn't this imply that there is something wrong with the level curve as your solution will lead to more exp which are a missing due to the bad level curve?

This is retarded. The level curve in G/S doesn't even come close to giving you a team capable of dealing with a level 80 Kingdra. You'd need to spend hours grinding in a field to even get within 20 levels of that.

Gym leaders should have themed monotypes. Game expects from you getting diverse team to be able to be SE over them. If you want "challenge" just make their levels higher and give counter moves.

Doing a Nuzlock(ish) run and this is my time. Just beat Pryce as my 5th leader.

The Drowsee and Nidorina are the only two that don't seem like they're carrying their weight. Any suggestions what I should do with them (or my other pokemon) or trade them out for? Apart from wanting a Sneasel at some point I don't really have many preferences.
