I think Zygarde was redeemed when his 100% form ended up being one of the best Ubers, and his 50% form was one of the best OU pokemon too before he joined his daddy in Ubers.

The Hitmon family has also been cucked.
ONE of either Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee in Gen 1.
ONE Tyrogue hidden extremely well in gen 2.
And then literally nothing but post-game encounters.
You can't even get one in Gen 7 without the Pokebank.

Sure Zygarde may not be a mascot or have some big in game event but that's really as far as it's cucking goes. It got multiple forms and validated as a very powerful not to be fucked with pokemon in both the anime and games. Hell looking back at it, the fact that it cucked this way made it more endearing.

What? The explanation for why they didn’t give Flygon a Mega was because they had tons of designs and couldn’t figure out which one to go with. Instead of getting all the art directors together and taking a vote, they scrapped the entire idea. That’s so immensely retarded I’m genuinely surprised at myself and everyone else that we weren’t able to expect GF to do such a thing even after every other dumb decision they’ve made.

I think it should simply get an enhanced variant of Aura Break which also boosts Ground or Dragon type moves by 33% just like how Fairy and Dark Aura does the same for Xerneas and Yveltal

Did you even read the interview? Literally the opposite happened - they couldn’t get a SINGLE decent design that Sugimori (the art director) would like before some unspecified deadline, so they had to drop the idea.

Because this is not how things work in companies. The art team leader is the one that has the final say in whether a design will pass through or not. They could vote but it wouldn’t change much as long as Sugi didn’t like any of their design ideas.
