Thwre are multiple kinds of pirate hat. I went for a more triangualr one here and made sobbles head crest a feather while expanding upon the crest and shapes with the "coat"

I hate all the "pokemon but with a human career" starters we've been getting but I would be 100% on board with a pirate. I agree with some of the other comments though, the coat is a touch too blatant. Maybe make the tail transition a little more nicely while you're at it.

It just looks off. You could do a gradient thing to sort of imply that it looks like a sword but it's actually just flesh, or you could put like a little ring around the base like a hand guard many cutlasses have.
Honestly the tail is fine even if you leave it as is, the coat feeling so inorganic is the biggest flaw in my eyes.

Nidoqueen is still an outlier, most waifumons are flat nowadays, maybe if you made it look more like big flat drums? Also, the sticks are a little small, just noticed them actually. Maybe you could make them a bit larger and play them off like punk rock styled "horns"?
