I'm gonna sperg out here. I never saw Kanto pandering until I finished Ultra Moon. I didn't see it in XY, and didn't think it existed until I just finished UM a day ago.
Why is a majority of the Alolan dex Kanto mons? Why are most if not all the Alolan forms Kanto mons? Why are there so many fucking references to Kanto in S&M? Why is my MC from Kanto?
Even in XY, there was more Gen 1 rep than any other generation. Mewtwo and Charizard got two megas.
We've been to Kanto 5 times now, holy fuck I'm done with this region They've got 7 whole generations of Pokemon to work with, fucking use them.
