So GameFreak is going to throw in a little Easter egg (or glitch from the past) into SS. The game is going to include a new ultra worm hole that takes the player to a very nostalgic location where an old man will ask if they want to know how to catch pokemon. Answering yes will trigger this to happen and the old man will show you how to catch a weedle. The user will be given some beast balls because that is all he has left. The player will then automatically appear on a very well-known location near a very famous island. The old man will appear again and tell the player to try to surf on the water to catch a pokemon. This is when the ultra beast appears which it normal flying, but always has a level equal to your highest level pokemon in party. There's four scenarios that can occur:

- If the player catches the ultra beast , they will wake up back in their home with only the ultra beast in their party. The other pokemon will luckily just be in your box. This is meant to scare the player and give them nostalgia.
- If the player defeats the ultra beast, the old man will encourage the player to try to catch another one of them. Alternatively, the player can leave from a wormhole that appears next to the old man.
- If the player tries to run away, they will have the option to leave the ultra wormhole which appears next to the old man
- If the player gets defeated, they will wake up in their home as if they had won the pokemon league. No change to the party will occur.

This ultra beast is unique in that it's form changes aetherically from time to time (four in total to be exact). It still has beast boost as it's ability for every time it knocks out a pokemon.
