While "Counting" the total unique pokemon-move combos specified by the game is time consuming, but could be done by an intern or some counting process. I highly doubt the total number of unique pokemon-moves combinations is that number. Lets say that each pokemon has, on average, 50 movies it can use. Thats level up moves, TMs, Egg moves, and tutor moves. Some can be more than 50 and some can be less. If each has on average 50, then 40350 unique animations would be required for the 807 roster.
Think 50 is too small? Do 100. Still only 80700. 200 is probably not accurate, but only here do we get in to the 100,000 range.
That's not taking away from your point. I don't know the time required in making an animation, and I'd assume different animations take different times. But don't shit out some bullshit number without any rational basis. Just makes you look stupid.
