Gen 5 might be my favorite gen but I'm not afraid to throw shit at it.
Game Freak, being years behind the curve like always, never even realized such a thing as "skippable cutscenes" existed until LGPE, and because of that shit their games are much more of a chore to replay through.
I am thankful that BW's limitations are the way they are because if the game was full 3D you could rest assured that the cutscenes there would be as bad as SM's in length if not worse, but thankfully I can just mash A instead of watching N do some autistic animation before every box of dialogue.
