it's fucking boring desu, and the reward is never worth it. For being one of the main focuses of the game, it's very lackluster
In the games where there wasn't online it was too difficult, and since the online came, many mons have been added every gen, and the gts has been full of mememasters who ask for mythical mons in exchange for version exclusives. Even ignoring that, you can't ask for pokemon that you haven't seen yet, which makes the whole thing considerably more difficult.
At this point i don't even bother capturing the legendaries that i know i won't use. And finding/breeding regular mons is simply too boring
