kek but why do people say that about alola? I definitely see it in Kalos since it has the forest, mewtwo's cavern, the starters, the legendary birds, snorlax and probably lots more, but what about alola? is it just because of the many references and alola forms? i mean at least i don't see any place named or modeled after kanto. or did i just not notice it?

Alola has a Diglett Cave, your character's from Kanto, and with all the Alolan forms being Kanto-native Pokemon. It's less in your face than Kalos so I don't mind it, but it's still there.
