How is it not defined though?

There should be a spin-off RTS Pokemon game. At least there HM Masters are way more useful for battlefield navigation and mobility.
I'm aware Pokemon Conquest exists, but I'm not sure if it's good. Then again I loved PMD, so maybe gameplay doesn't have to be vast and fresh.

But "you" are the trainer, not the Pokemon. "You" command the Pokemon, and the Pokemon try to execute your commands (in the form of RNG).
Might not be a bad idea to incorporate a real-time RPG or RTS where you control Pokemon directly.

I also judged it at first glance as a shitty vita exclusive-esque animeshit game until my friend forced me to play it. Its incredibly enjoyable and has a good story to boot

honestly I would be content with a spinoffseries with action combat and all the stuff from Xenoblade in a separate region with a small pokédex (like 200 pokémon tops) so that making several animations and behavior for each isn't super crazy taxing for the devs.

Not to mention, all of the archived arguments about how world containing 400+ unique monsters is unfeasible due to the immense amount of work it would take to make a passable ecosystem like Xenoblade.

Hey now, It's not nearly as good as Xenoblade 1 but it's really not bad at all. All the cute little side quests with the rare blades were a massive improvement on the last game.

And besides the waifus are 10000000 times better and that's what really counts.
