>>38011574It's pretty good, and the first time I could actually stand to watch more than a few episodes of a Pokemon series (other than when I was watching Indigo as a kid). Watch it if you want to wind down with something casual, cheery, and fun. The soft and simple art sets itself apart from the usual, awful half-assed shounen look-alike style. Characters and Pokemon actually emote and act as you would expect them to, given their ages and upbringings. No forced romanticism and Team Rocket is the best they have ever been.
It's more of a slice-of-life but with Pokemon.
