That said, modern genetics do support that European populations all share a common Indo-European origin as distinct from Middle Easterners and North Africans, who are of Semitic origin. Their ethnic division seems to be similar to the West, East, and North Germanic, and East, West, and South Slavic divisions we know to be true and supported by genetics and language, but their distribution is off and they seem to have completely forgotten the Celtics. Part of their issue is, near as I can tell, that they're basing it on historical migration data and not actual genetics research, the former is much less reliable than the later.
