Hello fellow lurkers. I was browsing youtube today when I stumbled upon this particular piece of high quality content in my feed. Upon seeing it, it made me wonder

In the video, it goes over every pokemon type and points out which pokemon best represents the type. For example Florges is the best fairy type because it's the only fairy type that is an actual fairy. It's a flower nymph combined with a siren, and its other features also show its type very well as well. You should give it a watch, I'm sure you would like it!

Sounds absolutely retarded. Why would I watch a video for some random moron's opinion? What makes him qualified to determine what best represents a type? That's a completely subjective thing.

I don't think that's fair. Pokemon is a vast series with deep lore. What's wrong with making videos thinking deeply about that lore, and inviting others with the same passion to do the same and discuss? You just need to lighten up a little bit.

You should check out False-Swipe Gaming. He's quickly becoming my favorite Poketuber(read: only one I like) because he goes through a rather extensive competitive history of individual Pokemon each week, either choose by him or the audience. He covers stuff like popular sets, what niches they occupied in battle, their history/placement in VGC and Smogon tiers, and so on. He's a Poketuber that actually puts in effort to create interesting content imo.

He's going to run out of pokemon to cover in due time, so better to invest your time watching more long term poketubers. Might I suggest TrueGreen7? His videos have a lot of work put into them and are of very high quality.
