It looks ugly and it's been shilled for a long time. I remember playing Mystery Dungeon Blue, and seeing how "Lucario" was the top rank, and just groaning. Then it had its own dungeon with a special snowflake trainer in Diamond version, and the Champion had one. Then it replaced Mewtwo in Brawl, and I was annoyed.
Then that movie came out, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and I actually really liked him in that movie, so he redeemed himself in my eyes.
I hated it though because it felt like a Gary Stu Pokemon

It was just from moment one, I felt like he was pushed way too hard. But I don't mind him when he's not being shilled as much. Like, finding wild Riolu and training it is pretty cool, but then being handed that free Mega Lucario later sucked shit.
