How do you know which starter to choose? I've always gone water in the past but if scorbunny is fire/electric and looks goddamn will I want to choose that
I like sobble and I'd feel guilty for betraying my water bros but I just want the bun so bad

You try not to overdo it with choosing Fire starters because they're on average more appealing. I try to pick a starter of a different typing every gen while still enjoying a good starter, so my picks from Gen I onward have been: Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Treecko, Turtwig, Oshawott, Fennekin, Popplio.

If I didn't care about diversity I probably would have chosen Charmane and Listen as well just based on personal appeal. Probably going with the rabbit this time.

I prefer Scorbunny, though things could change and I usually choose my starter after seeing its final evolution. At times exotic or rare type combos are extremely appealing to me so that's a factor too.
