GF felt bad about cutting the originals off from the modern games and wanted people to recreate their childhood bros dumb tms and all. Cost twice as much as other gameboy games because Pokemon tax though.

What was the purpose of not releasing every fucking pokemon game on the 3DS? Surely they would have made absolute bank even charging full price, especially considering the DS games would probably require the least work.

Gen 3 had remakes they wanted to sell, gen 4 had remakes coming in the near future, and gen 5 wasn't worth the effort since physical copies were still abundant.
