angie got it i'll remember that, i'm so grateful for pokemon tomboys. another good pokemon tomboy is yellow from the adventure manga most people forget she is a pokegirl as her manga was based on the yellow games and she was made up specifically for the manga sort of like how green was as well until lets go made her canon.

why can't they just end the series with ash and misty as a couple or ash continuing his adventures in different regions with misty being his girlfriend she doesn't even have to be in every episode she can maybe pop in every once in a while to cheer him on

Because Ash is a fucking icon despite the memes of him not being popular, I don't mind Serena, but thinking that she's the true endgame is kind of silly.

The day they decide to really end his story I'm sure they will use a girl that can match his popularity, it would be like Mickey and Minnie.

An anime executive thought that it would fit Kalos since is based on France I think, besides, in the Electric Tale of Pikachu they are a thing.

But let's be honest, AshxMisty is more popular in the west, but in Japan Dawn and Serena are the top dogs.

Not that it matters since they would never show Ash's significant other even in the last chapter of the anime, unless they want a shitstorm a hundred times bigger than the Kalos league.
