Why are pokemon gyms are called gyms in the first place?
You don’t train your pokemon there, you don’t engage in any kind of sport so why is the boss arenas in this series referred to as gyms?

Also why is Whitney so fucking cute?

Other people do. Also you’re meant to take multiple attempts until you learn a specific lesson to prove yourself in the show or some shit so even if you’re just passing by you’re supposed to get stronger if you’re lacking.

Nah, she should have had Jigglypuff in the first place, it's more fitting I feel between the singing and the overall crying motif with the tears/dust of Wigglytuff, the bouncing of Igglybuff, etc.
