The Nintendo Switch is the most powerful console for a main series Pokemon game to be featured on. LGPE does not seem to take advantage of that and Sword and Shield "may" follow suit.

What would be the "perfect" new pokemon game in your opinion? You have unlimited resources and your imagination is only limited by what the switch can do.

Too bad, because I wanna see what Pokémon could do if Switch had a successor with Turing (GTX 1660 at best) class hardware that could fit on an SoC in a 7nm fabrication and specs on par with the latest iPad or the most powerful Surface on the market if we're aiming higher.

I just want a pokemon game that looks actually good for once, with nice animations and solid frames. that's all, since I only play competitive, I just want sexy looking battles.

Region:
>Massive world (at least as big as Xenoblade Chronicles world) filled with caves, mountains, forests, seas, cities etc... that will force you to explore to find every pkmn

Gyms:
>20 gyms (1 for each type + 2 multitypes)
>Gym leaders will have 6 pkmn team

Trainer:

This sounds great except the over world pokemon each have their own AI and act according to their species like birds might perch in a tree or fly by and you have to start a sky battle to get it or plant pokemon might be literally planted in a flower patch hiding from something and you just happen to trip over them before you realize it's a pokemon. If the pokemon are just hopping back and forth all the effort put in to the game is ruined

Don't give a shit about what the Switch can do. Pokémon doesn't need that, not main series at least.

2.5D was ideal and there was plenty of shit they could've done with it to make that more interesting, rather than nixing all 3D side series RPG games for people who wanted them.
