I am not a part of the Pokémon or GF companies at all; however, I am in contact with a few trusted sources who tend to get things right. Note, they have gotten minor things wrong in the past for smaller features, so all may not be true. I will mark what might not be true with a $.


>Norse mythology will be presence in this region through story, characters, and Pokémon, more so with the middle of the region where norse ruins can be found

>Norse inspired Pokemon include: a legendary (wolf that can change form using an item, steel/fire or ghost based upon form), a bird (raven like which are dark/flying and split evolution for final based upon stats, obviously based off of odin’s ravens), and a cat with golden details and golden wings (normal/flying type, based upon freya’s) possibilities of others but all of that along with some under Pokemon was confirmed by my sources

>Towns and cities have slight influences from the nine realms in Norse mythology (Vanaheim influences for the forest town with giant mushrooms)

> $ Evil team is based off on Hel, team leader, and different major characters from Helheim (honestly, don’t believe that unless that other major characters in the evil team are dishonorable dead as I don’t know of anyone besides Hel in that realm)


Story Points

>Two professors, younger gives you your starter and the older one gives you some supplies and tells you to come back after the first gym

>Evil team has hold more in the middle of the region and is based in the first main city

>Player runs upon them there but doesn’t get to fight them until later

>After first gym, you recieve an item formed by Melmetal for armored evolution

>$Evil team tries to start plan ragnarok, take over region to rebuild it and start a new under their control of the best two admins (sounds way to similar to gen 4’s evil team’s goal for it to be true) (very similar to what happens after ragnarok)
