>>38056183I've played through my copy of Y three times and just love the game enough to enjoy it every time, and didn't even need to do some kind of challenge run to enjoy myself.
I love poké amie and find it flawless and very enjoyable, and love the little minigames that were included, the minigames themselves being part of the reason I love gen 6 in general. I feel the same for super training as well.
Also just like the feel of the region, and a lot of the pokemon introduced in it as well. Tyrantrum, Aegislash, the Starters, Malamar (even though it isn't very good I like it quite a lot), Clawitzer and Dragalge are really awesome, Pangoro, really it just goes on.
Also introduced Mega-Evolution, which I unironically love for the cheesy anime-esque super mode power up feel it gives, as well as making some of my favorites have renewed life (like Venusaur and Sableye, though I had to wait for ORAS to get the latter).
Also love the fairy typing, and it gradually grew from something I hated to one of my favorite types, since I'm a big fan of holy-esque things and also the old Fae tales. It also turned another one of my favorites, Clefable, into the most dominate force in gen 6 OU, quite the climb from it's early gen 1 days.
And Friend Safaris, the O-Powers, introduction of Wonder Trade, the Poke-Nav in ORAS, really I love everything about these games. I know gen 6 gets a lot of hate but no matter how I try to look at it I just can't really grasp how people hate these games so much.
Well, I won't exactly defend Team Flare, but I do like how their name is also meant as a pun for Flair and they're a bunch of fashionistas who are complete imbeciles. Plus that one grunt you kept running into. Lysandre's alright I guess.
