why can't people just erase their save files before trading them in? it legit upsets me that i'll have to delete all this progress.

Save file stories? I jusy bought a couple of CIB games from a "rich" family in my third world country. 20 years later, he has the same fucking name "JACOB" and never. NEVER beat the league. Got his Fire Red, Green Leaf, Platinum, Soul Silver and Pearl. All of them unfinished. And he even had Mistery Dungeon titles. Why they were never finished? How the fuck. Also, he named his Charizard "DRAGON" and give him 3 fire attacks and fly. He's 32 now.

Pokemon you can get in the wormhole wilds have an insane rate of shinies. I think the highest is like 30% but you have to git gud on the wormhole minigame and capture the legendaries in that particular wormhole

Non-legendary, non-UB Ultra Wormhole Pokemon have ridiculously high shiny rates.
And they stay shiny if you soft reset so you can get any nature you want or even SR for IVs.

Pinsir is the only one OP named that you can't get in the wormhole. That being said, Sigilyph is kino and I caught a shiny one in a friend ball in the wormhole and I love him.

Yeah, the way it works is there's an X% chance for the Pokemon to be forced to be shiny, which is rolled when you enter the wormhole. Otherwise you could SR for shininess and it would be silly because of the super high rate.
The Pokemon itself is still generated when the battle starts, the game just rerolls its personality value until it gets a shiny one.

It was likely someone who bought the game as a kid, never beat the Elite Four, and then forgot about it.
Save data was from 2011, nobody had nicknames, and they used their Master Ball on Cobalion
