I also have a sad story
Once upon a time, I had a friend who had 2 of them, so he gave me 1
I took it with me to daycare one day (I was still a fetus) just to show it off
Someone wanted to trade some stuff for it
Me being the unaware brainlet I was at the time, I said lol sure why not
I can't remember exactly what it was I traded it for, but I'm guessing it was just some regular high HP cards
I did not realize the damage I had done until years later when I heard about its rarity over and over and over again
If I had a time machine...

Yes. And the misprinted one a friend of my brother's got who gave it to me years later because he wanted to give me a "blowjog".

He never got what he wanted, but I got to play a shitload of games I otherwise wouldn't have had access to as a poorfag at the time and a shitload of cards (since I never went to anything in theaters past 2000, that was also how I got shit like Entei).

When I was in high school, we had a school play that actually gave these out to the audience. One of the cast members of the play had an older brother who used to work in a movie theater, and apparently he swiped a whole box of leftover Ancient Mew cards that were just collecting dust somewhere in storage.

This happened close to 8 years after Pokemon: The First Movie's initial theatrical release.
