Specially considering how Yajima was so cheap that he wouldn't even bother to introduce stronger trainer for Ash to fight and use Sawyer as a punching bag.
I hope someday a fair director will take over Pokemon anime who will bring Alain back so he can spend the next 20 year as a punching bag for Ash and every other character as a cost for all the special treatment he have gotten from Yajima.
