Just like with Mew, Shaymin, etc. There's multiples of them

And it's a Gen 7 Pokemon, not Gen 8

It will always be a Gen 7 Event Mythical, and you'll be able to send it from LGPE to SS, but not directly from GO to SS.

There's multiple Latios/Latias too, being of singular existence is not a sign of a legendary or a requirement. It's really just about being super rare or having tons of myths surrounding them now.

The game literally came out 5 months before we had a name for Gen 8, how are there people still confused about it being a Gen 7 game?
