Source I thought the B&W and B&W2 protagonists were on the older end of the spectrum? Either way puberty in girls is starting younger and 12-13 isn't uncommon.

why do they give protagonists official ages? it's supposed to be my self-insert not a 12yo. at least with most games you just ignore it but sun/moon never let's you forget you're 11

N is supposed to be 18-20 in black and white and 20-22 in the sequels, the protagonists always looked to be about his age so I'd say they're around that. didn't think they'd be 13

Do you mean explain the sauce or explain why a 13 y/o has boobs because idk where you got that image but girls begin puberty anywhere between 10 to 14. Some as early as 8 and some as late as 16, it depends on genetics and diet. I started at 9, my peers bullied me over it and I hated myself for the longest time. They never apologized even after they grew up and I've had to let grudges go.

Most people in my class started around 11-13 if I remember right. I started around 9 but had hormonal issues and grew breasts, you can imagine the bullying I got. I feel you bro. Still, I don't think Rosa looks 13 and the male MC certainly doesn't. They are, devs said numerous times in interviews with jap magazines that they're 14 (originally planned to be 16) and the manga also rolls with the gen 5 characters being 14.

Well they are by the time of BW2. Hilda, Hilbert, Bianca, and Cheren are at least 16-17, even if only the latter two are shown in that game.
