None because there shouldn't be any such thing. Armor should replace the random breeding stats and effects for EVERYTHING because this is an RPg-fucking-G. One where they regularly show the characters dressing up in all of the media except not in a way that matters.

Armor evolution is going to be stupid if it's true. The only thing that it could possibly do is add Steel type to whatever pokemon that get it. And does Steel really need to be boosted up in popularity like that?
However with nu-gamefreak I'm sure they'd keep on buffing steel.

The op is based on the ancient armor from Lucario's movie, IIRC. If this armor evolution is real, I don't think it will look like that. Probably just a variation of mega evolution where the new form has natural armor.
