So I wished to do a thought experiment for fun because I’m kinda disappointed that, despite GF making so many defensive, slow and bulky ice types that are obviously meant to be walls, they fail at their job because, well…they’re ice types.
So, I decided to try and come up with a fun experiment: would I be able to design a Pokémon to be a solid defensive ice type that would be good enough to be OU…without changing any game mechanics or modifying how the type chart works in any way.
So I decided to try my hand at this, and created a fakemon (let’s call it Polaris). I budgeted myself to 580 BST (it will be a single stage) and attempted to find a type that would cancel out most of Ice’s weaknesses without adding too many new ones.
