As shown by that poll, a Pokemon fan is more likely to vote for Primarina as their absolute favourite, but if you asked any person if they know Popplio/Brionne/Primarina it's far more likely they'll say they know Popplio, as it's featured in much more merchandise and promotional material (being a first stage starter), whereas Primarina is pretty much only in the Gen 7 games.
