Like a lot of people I got my start in the online pokemon fandom on serebii's forums, bulbagarden, and some other random pokemon forums over the years. Also posted on IGN, gamefaqs, etc. in Pokemon related topics.
Around 2014 I was googling pokemon girl images and one of the links came to /vp/. I had no idea 4chan even had a Pokemon board, so I came to visit and surprisingly saw a lot of discussion on the games and anime so decided to stick around.
Oddly enough I think the discussion here is better than any forum, which says a lot given the 4chan stigma. What about you?
