Canalave feels a steel crate shipping/loose iron rock freighter industrious port city vibe, considered a “larger suburb” of Jubilife, along with Oreburgh. W/ materials having to pass through/under the metro area to reach the sea.
There is a good amount of greek/roman inspired architecture for no good/apparent reason. American arch. is very much known for this anomaly’s
Solaceon town is a literally cowboy ranch city with wild horses with native ruins nearby which is depressingly accurate of America
A pocketed area of freshwater marshes.
Solar panels galore and traditional lighthouses.
Floroma is all wind farms and dedicated to flower sales and beekeeping.
Veilstone is an old cobblestone and brick town.
I’m going to be honest that it does feel more like America than Unova did in some ways. It feels like a slice of America that is close enough to the mountains to having mining, close enough to sea to have shipping ports and tourist resort mini cities. East coast state close enough to fudge appalachia into it feels accurate. Florida fits all but the mining were as the rest fit even beach tourism. Or Minnesota & L. Superior with the Iron range have some creative liberties taken with its height. Arizona could fits these too, they even have snow apparently. Orre has analogues for a decent chunk of these town concepts, some double up.
As a whole the region was a better reflection of a whole region rather than a cluster of biomes or environments. They could be argued to have a lot of international influence, notable French and American which is a nice bit of foreshadowing.
