>>38082099Lads, this is my hot take.
Imagine if they dumped their resources into one game, all mon, all regions (adjust level scaling) and every year they’d come out with a “new” game, which would essentially be the same game but with another region racked on. Like FIFA. Fuck it I’d take that over anything similar to SM again. At the very least we’d get like 100 hours of playtime out of it.
Imagine you could choose which region you start in. Change evolution to rather than evolving at a certain level, a Pokémon will evolve based on how many levels it’s grown with you. There would be a lot more team variety (NFE-wise). Maybe also give a stat overhaul so there’s not such a huge gap between the strongest and weakest Pokémon (legends can be broke in their own tier).
1st forms have 300 BST, 2nd forms have 350 BST, final forms have 400 BST and Legendaries have 500 BST. Make the stats less varied so maybe a Charmeleon might be able to hold its own against a Typhlosion, maybe teching your way to a win. Make speed a slight variable, whereas the higher your speed is vs your opponent, the greater the changes of attacking first, instead of 151 speed smoking 150 speed 10/10 times. In this case, it might be closer to a 50/50. Balance the whole thing and give me my pseudo-open world multi-region super game that gets shat out every other Christmas season with a new region and mons. I would get the new one every fucking year like a MLBTheShow slave.
