ユンゲラー (Yungerā; Yungerer)
ユリゲラー (Yurigerā; Uri Gellar)
What the names look in Latin characters doesn't matter. In Japanese, リ (ri) was changed to the visually similar ン (-n). That's where Kadabra got its Japanese name.
The thing is that Japan does this all the time, even with fictional characters being heavily based on other fictional characters. That's why there are so many unoriginal archetypes in anime. Pokémon itself began as a highly referential game idea. Many Pokémon were based upon known tokusatsu monsters. The name Capsule Monsters was a translation of Capsule Kaijū which is why it had to be changed. There are points where parody crosses the line with the original rightsholders.
