Yes. Great and colorful artstyle, a city that felt real and alive, fun supporting cast, and decent plot.

I had high hopes for Hoopa and the Clash of Ages but instead of spending time on developing exactly how and why hoopa had to be bound we get a long toy commercial with a five minute backstory flashback. Not worth it.

I’ve rewatched the Johto and Hoenn movies too many times to count. They are the best this show has to offer with my personal favorite being the Lati movie

The Darkrai movie was the only good DP movie which is sad because they had a whole overarching sort but the Arceus movie was a total snooze fest and I can’t even remember what the Giratina one was about

but pretty much this^ although I'd argue the manaphy, and latis movies were pretty difficult to rewatch. Jirachi was pretty god awful since it centralized around Max but at least it had one of the greatest villians and the plot itself wasn't bad.. it was literally just Max.

I loved it. I didn't watch I Choose You, but Power Of Us was fun as fuck and I really like this whole reboot thing they're going with. I do wish they showed more of Ash's Pokemon though.

Just watched the movie
Thought it would be bare bones boring
But turns out I got a surprisingly wholesome, rather well written narrative story as well
I can't blame them for it's faults, they had to force Zeraora into the story for online events and money, but they did well in creating a unique story where it's just Ash and new people he meets along the way
I don't really like the art style for some characters, especially Ash, he looks extremely feminine
Aside from that this is a kino movie, it would definitely fit in with gen 2 movies, hell the whole movie rarely had other Pokemon other than Johto mons

I don't think M22 is going to be as good since it seems to be going for yet another story that's different from M20 and M21's story.

Of all 21 Pokemon Movies that've been released the ones worth watching imo are; M1-6, M8, M10, -12, M14 (lowest of these recommendations), M20 & M21.
Destiny Deoxys is fairly dull and doesn't really offer much coming off of Heroes & Wish Maker, Master of Illusions and Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice are just fucking awful, Genesect and The Legend Awakened has potential but falls short overall. I haven't watched any of the XY Series ones or M9 so I dunno what the quality of them is although given they rebooted after the three XY Movies I suspect they weren't good.

The XY movies are genuinely bad. Diancie shoehorned the Kalos starter evos into the plot for marketing, the villains sucked, and it literally pulled a reverse of Ash's death scene from the first movie. Hoopa had SO much potential but fell flat in the worst way. The marketing hyped up the battle between the two factions of legendaries, but they somehow made it boring in the actual movie. Volcanion was just an absolute snore-fest and a clusterfuck of Megas that had yet to be marketed.

Only absolutely unnecessary thing was the super annoying brother, had no purpose or needs to be in, most of the characters dubbed by Shoko in the recent movies in general all ended being annoying and downgrades for the movies. The only thing I know about this movie is that they aren't in Johto, they never specify what region they're in, the old lady doesn't have anything against Pokemon, she's just traumatized because her Snubull died rather gruesomely when she was a child. Zeraora is protective of the kid, Lugia plays a very minimum role in the film, it's like a force of nature rather than a pokemon, kinda like Ho-oh was in the first film and Pikachu is still Ash's only pokemon. Oh, and the Eevee was a plot device for the girl character rather than being a hint at gen 8, if anything it's there for Let's go shilling just like Lana's eevee.
