stop watching blunder/pdc. stall is very match up based but most teams have answers for it. in old gens stall is pretty good like adv suicune stall or b/w2 xatu sun stall and rain stall. sun moon stall is not necessary. offensive teams are still good at checking stall and most teams only need toxapex + fatbitch mon to have a good defensive core on a balance team. 90% of the spl teams ive seen in current gen ou are fat offense or balance with a pex torn tang regen shit etc and a strong offensive core. even the ladder is starting to adopt this style as opposed to the slow balance and hazard stack you usually see. stall isnt a big deal anymore and balance has become much better as a result.

when /vp/ complains about "stall" they're not referring to the same types of teams that smogon does. /vp/'s "stall" is anything that isn't hyper offense vs hyper offense, aka games that take more than 25 turns

wishkiller isnt even the best player and hes known for being obssessed with laddering. calling him th best OU player is like calling the harlem globe trotters the best basket ball team. if he matched up with abr or loppunykicks he would get put down easily. ladder means very little in terms of potential skill since its mostly patience and consistency in teambuilding specifically for the ladder. anyways wishkiller stall isnt even stall. its more like a hazard stack balance team but people see chansey skarm and heatran and think ZOMG STALL REE.
