>PersonalityHe acts like a total dork and acts way cooler than what he really is, though this does come in handy a couple times. He's not a jerk rival but he's not a friendly rival either, kinda in-between. He respects your ability but never goes so far to suck your dick. He's quite the comedic relief and steals the show every time.
He loves his Pokemon and Pokemon in general, especially considering he bothers to go through the effort to save one too.

>Actions within the storyHe starts his journey by obtaining an Egg that contains a Pokemon that requires lots of love and care: Dratini!
He meets you at the Prof's place to get a Pokedex and battles you. After a while you hear a sound coming from a rock, and you and the rival investigate. The rival concludes it's a Pokemon and orders Dratini to bust it with Dragon Rage, it's a Munchlax! He battles you again but with the Munchlax and either Shroomish, Slowpoke, or Magby depending on the starter you chose.
He assists you with battling the evil team and fucks with them in numerous humorous ways.
One battle he gives you a Toxic Orb, it's one of the only times he gives you an item and sees it as a genuine act of kindness
And after another, relatively early battle he gives you an Egg containing a Prankster Purrloin and tells you to "Go wild" with it. He didn't realize it had its HA and merely bred it for a solid Nature.
He gets fucking ecstatic when his Dragonair evolves.
Around the last battle against him he actually gets serious for once and boy does it show.
His theme would probably be something pretty goofy, fitting for his nature This is the closest fit I could find really.
