>>38098866/vp/ likes to collectively shit on the newer games after the initial honeymoon phase because eventually they get tired of everyone saying the newer games are better than the old and want to stick up for their respective games/generations. What makes things worse is that a lot of the time the people who shit on the newer games haven’t even played them. ORAS has its flaws but it is undoubtedly one of the best games in the franchise.
>b-but it’s easierYou literally only say this because of the EXP Share. Since the EXP Share now gives experience to the whole team, the levels of your party will collectively be higher. What people who criticize this don’t understand is that the game hits a gradual difficulty curve as soon as you defeat Wattson, where the levels of every single trainer in the game is either the same or higher than they were in RS, which had a higher difficulty and levels than in Emerald. This also helps because there are more battles in ORAS than RSE, especially in the second half, so the EXP Share gives you a chance to raise a variety of different teams to tailor your play through. Some might see that as a problem but to me that’s QOL because I don’t want to have to aimlessly grind for however long just so these other Pokémon I caught can be useable in the later game.
>b-but no postgameThey have an entirely separate story, starter events, tracking the Mega Stones, the Battle Resort, the Battle Institute, Mirage Spots for Legendaries, the Pokémon League, Secret Bases, AND Pokémon Contests. What fucking else do people actually want? Yes, damn, the Battle Frontier is gone, but if you aren’t playing with the facilities already in the game, and let me remind you, you can also do Rotation and Inverse battles, then you’re just proving GameFreak’s point that you guys don’t actually care about shit like the BF.
>b-but no accessoryYea, glad I don’t have to misplace and lose an accessory that locks content.
