No. It lacks a bunch of content that even the remakes prior had, or at least had replacements for.

Anyone who thinks PWT is better than the Frontier while complaining about Kanto pandering should neck themselves, by the way. PWT is nice, but it pandering to everyone doesn't magically make it better than the 9 events they removed, it just means you're as big a nostalgiafag as the genwunners you purport to hate.

The PWT isn't even close to the most appealing feature of BW2 though, and BW2 fans will tell you that.

It's a fun little extra but the main reason BW2 is so praised is its phenomenal postgame. You have so much of the region to explore and see what has changed since BW1. You have legendaries to catch, sidequests to complete, trainers to battle. PWT is just one aspect of it all

i'd probably like BW2 more if they weren't in Unova, bit hard to salvage the base region layout, they gave it a good shot though and they're probably the best Pokémon games we got this decade, it's a shame what followed
