Pretty much how I feel about 6 and 7. Only designs from 6 I hate are Goodra and Volcanion, and the only ones from 7 that I hate are Turtonator and Zeraora.

I feel similarly but at the same time, I'm really not as into them as I am some other generations. I'm much more fond of the high highs/low lows gens than "yeah they're alright" gens

I dunno. I hate most of them.
Only standouts like Hawlucha and Pangoro really appeal to me. I find the rest rather ugly or dull. Noivern's ok.

for me gen 1 was the everyone knows and love but i didn't have a favorite one after that gen 2 comes and i like almost all of the new 100 pokemon they add specially girafarit, ledian and my favorite of all time lugia.... gen 3 was so so my favorites are latias and salamance gen 4 i liked the region but not all the new pokemon except the concept of the pokemon arceus, gen 5 was such a disgusting pokemon design gen i fuckn hate it playing with some pokemon and i had to choose one of the starters even when i didn't liked any of them gen y was for me a come back to the pokemon roots they seem like the original concept of pokemon even though this gen have most of my favorite pokemon, gen 7 had good one though but they ruined with the ultrabeasts they had 20 of them in the game and i don't see them as pokemon, the alola forms was the best of this gen....e

I feel this is the benefit of having a smaller amount of new Pokémon. Not to mention these new Pokémon were made with 3D models in mind and are therefore given more personality with their models and animations.

The Scollipede line, Sawsbuck line, Galvantula line, Golurk line, Vulcarona line, Mandibuzz line, Rufflet line, Zebstrika line, Unfeasant line, Krookadile line, Chandelure line - they are all OK.

Trubbish/Garbodor are good because they're supposed to look like garbage, literally. Though, the world did not need another 2-stage-evo mono-poison line.

Gen V does have some shockingly fuckawful designs though. The elemental monkeys, all the starter lines ... ugh.

I really hated Gen 3's designs, they all felt very mediocre and forgettable with no real high highs or low lows. There were some standout ones like Aggron, Sableye, and Deoxys, but the majority of the dex felt really mediocre.

Gen 1 had mostly shit looking ones, but there were cool ones too like Nidoking and Slowbro.

I can't understand how people can say gen5 has the best designs. There are good ones, yes, I really like mienshao, volcarona, liepard and a few others, but the majority of the dex just looks...off.

Plus gen5 has way too many 2 stage pokemon that have no reason to exist and are only there to increase the dex number to 150 for b/w.
Like, boldore, gothorita, duosion, vanillish, klang or eelektrik have NO REASON to exist. Why even have them. They are so pointless it's amazing.

Those are cool pokemon but there are way too many shit/unnecessary ones, like they were just using a checklist because they had to make a kanto dex 2.0 so they probably used mediocre designs too that would've been scrapped if it were any other gen.
