I'd say... The jury's out for me. It was a fun little time waster, but man. 60 dollars. That's a lot of money. I also felt that it really exposed the design flaws of Kanto as a region. Honestly, no amount of graphical overhauls can make this region fun for me. I especially hate the Erika/Sabrina/Koga stretch. Seafoam Islands is still a chore.
In addition, you can't even get all 150 Pokemon without trading with a FRIEND. No GTS or anything like that. That's a fucking chore. Not doing that.
So...... I personally, genuinely regret my purchase. Just my two cents
